News and RSS Pages

The CMS offers functionality for creating news articles and RSS feeds. Several options are available to accomodate different looks for your news articles including main or feature story photos and 2 or 3 column pages.  Once you have requested the news articles on your CMS website, you may get started by creating the folder structure.

News pages created in the CMS can be configured to populate news to other sites via an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed. Through RSS feeds you can syndicate content quickly and automatically. For example, you can configure your site to automatically feed information from your news pages directly to your audience. Learn more about using RSS feeds.

Note: To request the special news and RSS templates for your site, send email to cms-help@andrew.cmu.edu.
