Tabs

An overview of these tabs is provided below:

  • View
    By default, when you select a page from the folder structure, it displays in View mode (i.e., with the View tab selected). In View mode, the web page looks similar to the way it will appear once published (see Layout and Preview tabs below for more details).

  • Edit
    Click the Edit tab to edit the content of your web page. Your page appears in the Edit window.

  • Copy
    Select the Copy tab to make a copy of the selected page.

  • Publish
    Publish your pages and folders from the CMS to the production web server.

  • Delete
    Use the Delete tab to delete the selected page or folder.

  • Advanced
    Click the arrow on the Advanced tab to invoke a submenu with the following tabs:

    • Access
      The Access tab lists Users or Groups who have been granted read and/or write access to your CMS folder. Access rights are determined by your web site administrator.
    • Audits
      The Audits tab shows the date and time a page was created, modified and the person who modified it.

    • Reference
      Currently unsupported.

    • Versions
      The Version tab lists when the selected page was last modified and the person who modified it. The CMS saves the last 20 versions of the saved page. Using this tab, you can revert to a previous version of the page.

View Sub-tabs

  • Layout
    When the Layout sub-tab is selected, small icons appear. Click the icons to display additional information about the contents (e.g., the main navigation).

  • Preview
    Select the Preview sub-tab to view the page as it will appear once published.

  • Properties
    This sub-tab contains important page information such as who created the page, date it was created, person and date to last modify and publish the page, page title and access rights.

  • Lock
    Use the Lock sub-tab to restrict other content managers from accessing or editing the page in which you are currently working.

  • Configurations
    Lists the assets that are used to comprise the page: template, main photo, logo, main navigation, etc.

Edit Sub-Tabs

  • Content
    The Content sub-tab contains formatting tools similar to those used in other web authoring applications.

  • Metadata
    Use the Metadata sub-tab to set the display name, summary, left navigation behavior, etc. for the selected page.

  • System
    Use the System sub-tab to set the filename for the selected page, change the page location or change the page template.

  • Configurations
    Lists the assets that are used to comprise the page: template, main photo, logo, main navigation, etc.
