Coaching Minority Progress and Academic Success in Science (COMPASS) is a unique opportunity for underrepresented incoming first year students in the Mellon College of Science to network with current students in the college. The program will pair incoming students with an upperclass mentor who will be able to share their experiences at Carnegie Mellon as well as offer guidance as the students make the transition through their first year.
