Bio

Nikki Nichols is a Master of Public Policy and Management candidate at the H. John Heinz III College at Carnegie Mellon University. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, International Affairs, and Political Science with a minor in Spanish.

Prior to joining CIPI, Nikki was Program Assistant at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars’ Latin American Program. She also volunteered with AmeriCorps VISTA as Preparedness Partnership Specialist at the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter, and was Data Analyst at AE Strategies, a Department of Defense contractor. As a member of the CIPI research team, Nikki’s work focuses on U.S. foreign policy engagement with sub-Saharan Africa, as well as expanding the center’s outreach and collaboration with other international policy organizations.
