Bio

Jenny L. Jourdain is a May 2013 graduate of the Heinz College, where she earned a Master of Science degree in Public Policy and Management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in both Political Science and French from Wellesley College and has studied at the Université de Provence Aix-Marseille I, Facultés de Lettres et Science Humaines.

Jourdain’s work as part of the CIPI Research team focused on enhancing the Center’s current international partnerships. She recently worked with the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship Program as an Education Researcher and is a member of the Heinz College International Development Group.

Prior to coming to Carnegie Mellon, Jourdain worked with nonprofit organizations and public charter schools offering fundraising, communications and advocacy strategy. Her experience in Washington, D.C. included serving as the Associate Director of Policy and Director of the Washington D.C. office for the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, along with working at a government relations health practice group and Capitol Hill.
