Two highlights from 2010 were the March Conference on Mitigating Electoral Violence in Accra, Ghana, and the December Conference on Preventing Electoral Violence, in Monrovia, Liberia. Recent hightlights include the publication of Preventing Electoral Violence in Africa, an edited volume on election violence prevention co-authored by CIPI director Jendayi Frazer and E. Gyimah-Boadi, Executive Director of the Ghana Center for Democratic Development; partnerships with the East African Community (EAC) to expand internship possibilities for our students, and, in conjunction with Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College, an expanded collaboration with Liberia.
