Artificial Intelligence and Robotics: Changing Entertainment by Bridging the Digital and Physical Worlds

Anki is a robotics and artificial intelligence company focused on bringing sophisticated technologies currently found in research labs into every day lives. With its first product, Anki DRIVE, the focus is on entertainment -- Anki DRIVE is a battle racing game that brings an unprecedented level of gameplay, interaction and depth into physical form. Arguably the first video game in the real world, we use diverse robotics technologies to program physical characters as if they were virtual characters in a video game.

Symbiotic Autonomy: Robots, Humans and the Web

In our utopian vision, ubiquitous mobile robots coexist and interact with humans while performing tasks. Such robots, however, are still far from common. This talk presents CoBots—autonomous mobile robots that ask for help, access the web, and coordinate with other CoBots and Baxter while performing service tasks such as escorting visitors and transporting packages.

Revolutionizing E-commerce Fulfillment Through Intelligent Automated Manipulation

At IAM Robotics our vision is to manufacture autonomous robots that can see and think about manipulating everyday objects. Intelligent Automated Manipulation (IAM) is our mantra. Our robots offer a simple low-cost alternative to existing warehouse automation solutions, which are expensive, painful to install and hard to maintain.
