The MUSIC PREPARATORY
SCHOOL announces an On-Line
Music Theory and Composition program. This state-of-the-art
collection of learning experiences in music is designed to develop and
produce new and innovative ways to give our students musical skills and
knowledge in interactive and participatory ways.
For ages 10 through adult. (minimum of 6th grade
reading level recommended)
Designed and proctored by Dr. David Berlin
Cost $125 (payable by cash, check, or major credit
card – see registration form)
* Currently enrolled Music Preparatory families –
this course is not included in your private lesson tuition.
- Registrants must
have their own computers with internet and e-mail access.
- Dr. David Berlin
will field all questions and proctor course work through musictheory@cmu.edu.
- On-line course
availability is limited to 14 weeks after which point access to
course
work will be shut off.
- This on-line course
is designed for students 10 years (6th grade reading
level) and older, including adults. Learn music theory with
your children!
- This course is
appropriate for the beginner to advanced student. A placement test is
given at the beginning to determine the student’s appropriate
placement in the sequence of learning experiences.
