Welcome to the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University. The College of Fine Arts is a community of nationally and internationally recognized artists and professionals organized into five schools, Architecture, Art, Design, Drama and Music; and its associated centers and programs.

The College of Fine Arts mission is:

to provide a quality learning environment which develops in each individual student the knowledge, skills, and commitment to work as an artist in society
to espouse a pluralism that respects origins and encourages innovation
to expand self-understanding; advance the disciplines and traditions of arts; benefit society; and enhance the quality of life in contemporary culture
to explore new areas of knowledge and performance through experimentation and research
