What is the Showcase of New Talent?

The objective of the Senior Showcase of New Talent is to support the building of new careers. Showcase programs give graduating students from all disciplines an opportunity to meet agents, casting directors, producers, directors, designers, playwrights and other established working professionals. These encounters are not only invaluable networking opportunities, they are learning experiences - students not only obtain jobs, but are exposed to some of the most successful professionals in the industry.  The class travels to both New York and Los Angeles to intersect with the theatre, film and TV worlds.

What is needed for the showcase?

Each graduating class needs to raise tens of thousands of dollars to fund this unique networking opportunity. The funds go towards paying for transportation and housing for the LA showcase. The School of Drama is kind enough to help pay for the NY trip. Money raised will also help fund rental of a space for the event, as well as for a reception after the event in both locations.
