| Jennifer Chapman joined the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in June of 2006. Born in Charleston, West Virginia, Jen spent her childhood living on an Army base in Bad Kreuznach, Germany. She studied theatre and music at West Virginia University, earning her BFA in Theatre with a minor in music. During her time at WVU she stage managed a number of different productions. She also privately studied music and played in Jazz Ensemble, as well as several other University music ensembles.
In addition to her duties as an Advisor in the School of Drama, Jen works with students on degree requirements, registration, and scheduling issues. She also manages the faculty promotion and tenure process; and is heavily involved with the audition and admission process, in addition to many other duties. Jen loves her work with the Drama students at Carnegie Mellon and credits her experiences as a Stage Manager for her ability to juggle many different tasks. In her spare time, she and her husband are in a constant state of home renovation. She also enjoys reading, writing, playing her guitar, and being walked by her Basset Hound, Fred. |
