The John Wells Video Studio is located on the first floor of the Purnell Center giving it easy access to the other theatre spaces and the scene shop/loading dock areas. Used as a classroom as well as a performance space, the studio houses video equipment for use in film and video classes and is the home to the yearly TV Workshop. The space is equipped with a five by five pipe grid and is wired with a dimmer-per-circuit system. There currently is a series of variable-height trusses installed in the space which are used as the primary lighting positions in the room.
