The Philip Chosky Theatre is located off of the main lobby of The Purnell Center for the Arts and is equipped with a loading door that gives access to the shop spaces. The theatre is used for large classes and also for different levels of theatrical production within The School of Drama. The stage is equipped with a motorized pit-lift. The proscenium width is variable and the house side "box-boom" walls pivot to provide a variable playiung space. In addition, a thrust is available. The space is permanently wired in a dimmer-per-circuit arrangement and has catwalk and tension-grid access for many of the lighting positions.
