Celebration of Diwali & Eid

The celebration of Diwali, also known as the "Festival of Lights," is a major Indian festival celebrating the victory of good over evil. Eid ul-Fitr is a joyous occasion celebrating the achievement of enhanced piety. Mayur SASA brings you an event that integrates these two very different festivals of two distinct cultures into an unforgettable evening of celebration. The event is packed with crafts, performances and a buffet of traditional South Indian cuisine. Buffet tickets may be purchased at the event with cash or check.

Heinz College students and alumni are invited to attend a lunch session and learn more about the diverse range of career paths that alumni have pursued after graduation. Panelists will share their advice for pursuing their careers as well as tips for achieving success.

2011 Alumni Distinguished Achievement Honoree Lecture
Considered by international audiences and colleagues to be the reigning virtuoso of the horn, Dale Clevenger, A'63, is a consummate and multifaceted musician. Join us as we get a sneak peek into the life of this three-time Grammy Award winner, teacher, conductor, and Principal French Horn in the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

President Jared L. Cohon will address alumni, faculty, staff, families, and students on the current state of the university and what lies ahead. Current students will also share their perspective on Carnegie Mellon life today.

Carnegie Clan's Annual Homecoming Chili Cook-Off
The Carnegie Clan invites alumni to come interact and mingle with students while enjoying the best chili Carnegie Mellon has to offer at the 8th annual chili cook-off.

Grab lunch before heading to the game to cheer on the Tartans to victory over the Wash U. Bears.
