Wilson Honored with 40 Under 40 Award

Todd Wilson (B.S. CE 2006) will be honored next month with a 40 Under 40 award for his work on the application of intelligent transportation system technology to decrease congestion and emergency response times on major highways as well as his efforts in documenting bridges and working to preserve them as historically significant landmarks. He has partnered to create a website, www.bridgemapper.com, which provides historic bridge information for thousands of structures throughout the country, and hosted the first Historic Bridge Weekend in Pittsburgh in July 2009.

The 40 Under 40 program recognizes men and women in the Pittsburgh area who are committed to improving the region and making it a better place for everyone. The ceremony will be held on Friday, November 4, 2011 and is sponsored by PUMP and Pittsburgh Magazine.
