David Dzombak Named University Professor

Professor David Dzombak has been named University Professor at Carnegie Mellon, the highest academic distinction university faculty members can achieve. The title is awarded on the basis of national or international recognition for research and other scholarly activities.

Professor Dzombak joined the CEE faculty in 1989 after receiving his B.S. and M.S. from Carnegie Mellon and his Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is currently the Faculty Director for the Steinbrenner Institute for Environmental Education and Research, and the Co-Director of WaterQuest. He also holds the Walter J. Blenko Professorship of Environmental Engineering.
