Undergraduate Computing Cluster

The A7BB Undergraduate Cluster is located on the A level of Porter Hall, next to the Metal Shop

The lab is equipped with 16 workstations: each workstation consists of a Dell Optiplex 960 Windows 7 64-bit machine, 30” Monitor and a full suite of common Engineering Academic software, including (but not limited to):

  • MS Office
  • Matlab
  • Mathematica
  • VisualAnalysis
  • Autodesk 2013
  • Palisade DecisionTools
  • Minitab
  • CES Edupack

For printing, go to the PRESS shortcut and use A7BB-BW.

The room also features a large format printer named “Plotter” that is equipped with plain paper. Please use this for proofing academic posters before using the glossy paper.

There is also a projector with a VGA input to display laptops.

Advanced Computing Software Suite

The 118BC Graduate Cluster is located on the first floor of Porter Hall, next to the Alumni Lounge.

The lab is equipped with 13 workstations. 12 of these workstations consists of a Dell Precision Windows 7 64-bit machine, 30” Monitor and a full suite of common Engineering Academic software, including:

  • MS Office
  • Primavera
  • MinEQL
  • Weka
  • Matlab
  • Mathematica
  • VisualAnalysis
  • Autodesk
  • Palisade DecisionTools
  • Minitab
  • MathCAD

There is also a dedicated Graphic Design machine with the Adobe CS suite, a scanner and a Large-Format Printer containing glossy paper.
