Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Building

Project Overview

A new 40,000 square feet mixed-use building on the North of Forbes Site will include space for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a new home for the university stores, a dining facility on the ground floor, and academic or administrative office and shelled space.  The stand-alone structure will house state-of-the-art facilities, providing collaborative spaces for the CMU community. The building will provide space for TCS staff to interact with CMU faculty, staff, and students.

Team Members

Campus Design & Facility Development will be working in conjunction with the following organizations to complete the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Building project:

Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP - Design Architect
Mascaro Construction Co., L.P., Pittsburgh, PA - Construction Manager

The Electric Car Garage lot at 4621 Forbes Avenue will be closed starting August 15th, 2016 to prepare the site for the construction of the new Tata Consultancy Services Building, TCS Building.

The electric car charging stations will be moved to new locations as follows:

- Two on the third level of Dithridge Street Garage

- Five in the ungated parking area on the bottom level of the CIC Garage

- Two on the first level of the East Campus Garage

Relocation of the charging stations will be completed by August 20th.

A construction fence will be installed closing the site to vehicles and pedestrian through traffic.
