TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USE OF TARTANTRAK PROFESSIONAL NETWORK

Terms and Conditions for Students and Alumni Using ProNet:

Carnegie Mellon makes the TartanTrak Professional Network ("ProNet") available to students and alumni to allow them to connect with ProNet Volunteers who may be able to help with career development. If you choose to contact a ProNet Volunteer, an email with your name, email address and personal message will be generated by the system and sent to the ProNet Volunteer, however Carnegie Mellon cannot control when or if you receive a reply. Carnegie Mellon does not investigate, compensate, direct, or in any way control ProNet Volunteers and does not promise any results from your use of ProNet and/or your contact with ProNet Volunteers.

You understand and agree that your use of ProNet is subject to TartanTrak Policies and Guidelines.

By accessing ProNet, you agree to use it only for the legitimate purpose of contacting ProNet Volunteers about career development. Further, you agree to read the "Communicating with the Volunteers" information and use it as a guideline when contacting ProNet Volunteers.

Finally, you understand and hereby agree that all contacts with ProNet Volunteers are at your sole discretion and risk and you further understand and hereby agree to accept all the risk and to release Carnegie Mellon University from any and all liability relating to your use of ProNet and/or your contacts with ProNet Volunteers.

Terms and Conditions for ProNet Volunteers:

Carnegie Mellon makes the TartanTrak Professional Network ("ProNet") available to students and alumni to allow them to connect with ProNet Volunteers who may be able to help with career development. If you agree to serve as a ProNet Volunteer, all the information in your profile (except for your email address should you choose to hide it) will be accessible to all TartanTrak job seekers and all the information in your profile may be shared with the other offices at Carnegie Mellon. Please note that Carnegie Mellon does not review, direct or control communications from students/alumni to ProNet Volunteers and cannot control when or if they respond.

You understand and agree that your use of the Network is subject to TartanTrak Policies and Guidelines.

By accessing ProNet and submitting profile information as a ProNet Volunteer, you agree to use ProNet only for the legitimate purpose of contacting students/alumni about career development. Further, you agree to read the "Expectations and Best Practices" information and use it as a guideline for your contacts with students/alumni.

Finally, you understand and hereby agree that all contacts with students/alumni are at your sole discretion and risk.
