Career Catalyst: A Networking Career Event for Mathematics and the Sciences
Career Catalyst is a new venture aimed at promoting and showcasing employers’ opportunities in the sciences and related areas. It is an industry-specific event designed to facilitate relationship building with faculty, staff, and students in the areas of Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Physics, and Mathematical Sciences. It will include faculty and employer networking as well as an intimate and casual career fair that will attract students from all majors and disciplines.

Networking Luncheon - 12 – 1 p.m.

Employer Panels - 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
University Center, 2nd Floor (Rangos 2 & 3)
Employers will be invited to participate in panels which will showcase career paths in their organization.
Recruiting Career Fair - 3 – 5 p.m.
University Center, 2nd Floor, McKenna/Peter/Wright Rooms
Employers will meet talented students from all academic majors and backgrounds who are interested in math and science-related jobs and internships. In order to create a more intimate and networking-friendly environment, traditional career fair booths will be replaced with high-top tables.

Online registrations will be taken until the dates listed below. Once online registration has closed, please call Janet Vojtash at 412-268-7051 and registrations will be taken if room is available.

What is Included
Includes one high top table with linen, two representatives, one parking access code per company. Lunch will be provided.
Cancellations made by October 2, 2013 will be fully refunded. We are unable to refund for cancellations made after October 2, 2013.

Parking, Directions, and Map
We will reserve one parking space per company in the East Campus Garage for the day of the event. When you arrive, please proceed to the U.C. Circle to drop off any event materials you may have. A staff member will greet you and assist with your materials. You will then proceed to the East Campus Garage and enter the parking access code. This code is required to exit the garage.
