Spark: Startups and Emerging Companies
Spark is an innovative career event designed to provide a platform for small business and early stage start-ups to engage Carnegie Mellon University students and alumni. You will have the opportunity to network with startups and early stage companies as they share information about their company story, mission, and products. There is also the opportunity for these companies to recruit you at the event. The day after the event, some of the companies will be conducting interviews with select students.

Important: Student IDs are REQUIRED for attendance to Spark
Nametags are NO LONGER required for admission to CPDC Career Fairs, but will be provided to students who want them. Look for the nametag stations near the entrance.
Getting Ready for Spark
• Review the Career and Professional Development Center Career Success Guides entitled Job Fairs [.pdf] and Professional Presentation [.pdf]. Dress in professional business attire, according to the industry you are pursuing. Not recommended: jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes
