Fall Career Week 2011 Recap

Oct. 03, 2011

I am pleased to share that the first Fall Employment Opportunities Conference (EOC) was a very successful event based on the large attendance and anecdotal feedback we received from students and employers. The event attracted 79 employers from various industries and 1,510 students and alumni from various colleges and departments. Below is breakdown of the student attendance by college:

Attendance

The Fall EOC was the official kick-off to Career Week, which also includes the TOC and BOC. The TOC (organized by SWE and CIT) attracted over 200 employers, and the BOC (organized by Tepper Student Club) had over 30 employers. The three events combined brought over 300 employers to campus, which has increased the diversity of opportunities for our students and alumni. Career Week events were covered on the CMU website and on the Tartan.

Thank you again for your continued support to our programs and initiatives.
