Meet the CPMs

Christina — Morewood E-Tower

Senior, Psychology & Professional Writing

Hometown: Metuchen, NJ

I am so incredibly excited to be working with E-tower again, because it is a fantastic community filled with greatly ambitious residents. I am a senior pursuing a dual degree in Psychology and Professional Writing with a minor in Photography, and this will be my third year serving as a Career Peer Mentor. I hope to be able to continue bringing career resources to CMU students, and to help ensure that we are doing everything that we can do ensure that students feel prepared and ready to achieve their career goals.

What is the most difficult interview question you’ve ever been asked?

If you were a type of candy, what type of candy would you be and why? (It was an interview at Dylan’s Candy Bar, so I had to have a good answer! I used one of their own candy bars.)

Favorite movie? Book? Most played song?

Mozart and the Whale, Catcher in the Rye, “I Follow Rivers” by Lykke Li

Career Peer Mentors
(CPMs) are student employees at the Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC) who assist with many facets of the CPDC’s services.  Perhaps most apparently, CPMs work in the CPDC office during daily drop-in hours and are available to assist their peers with resume writing, their internship or job search, and using online career resources.
