Sophomore, Electrical & Computer Engineering

Hometown: Edison, NJ

My name is Steve Jurcsek and I am a 2017 ECE major.  When I ‘m not doing school work or CPM-ing I can often be found getting involved with my fraternity or playing with a DJ controller.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?  Why?

Flying.  I think wanting to fly is intrinsic to human nature so I can’t really explain why.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you be?  Why?

Oddly enough, Link, from the Legend of Zelda.  The idea of going on an adventure and being the mythical hero is something I like.

Career Peer Mentors
(CPMs) are student employees at the Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC) who assist with many facets of the CPDC’s services.  Perhaps most apparently, CPMs work in the CPDC office during daily drop-in hours and are available to assist their peers with resume writing, their internship or job search, and using online career resources.
