The Order of the May recognizes individuals who have demonstrated an extraordinary degree of loyalty by giving to Carnegie Mellon year after year.
Named for Albert C. May (E’21, ’22), who founded the Annual Fund at Carnegie Tech in 1947 and contributed to it every year until he passed away in 1998, this special order honors those who embody all the best characteristics for which Mr. May is remembered.
Membership Honors and Opportunities
Members receive special communication and invitations from Carnegie Mellon. Those who achieve two, five, 10, 15 and 20 years of consecutive giving will receive personal recognition from the university. Individuals who achieve 25+ years of consecutive giving will be inducted as lifetime members into the Order of the May at a special ceremony.
