About the ACS

Dedicated to Making an Impact

Andrew Carnegie Society (ACS) members provide vital support to the university by contributing $1,000 or more to Carnegie Mellon during a fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). The total amount includes contributions and any matching gifts.

All members receive special access to programs and events, as well as monthly electronic news updates (The ACS E-News).

The Andrew Carnegie Society aspires to be a leading group of alumni and friends helping to provide the resources that enable Carnegie Mellon to be a university of the first rank.

Mission

The Andrew Carnegie Society is a group of dedicated alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff who:

  • Strive to recognize and honor Andrew Carnegie
  • Work to encourage and inspire other alumni and friends to follow the high standards of philanthropy established by Andrew Carnegie
  • Promote the interest and participation of alumni and friends in the affairs of the university.
