Support Options
There are a number of support options available to help you manage your time and achieve the course learning objectives. You can attend any combination of support sessions each week, depending on the types of problems you are having and the amount of support you need.
Recitation
Every student enrolled in C@CM will register for a recitation session. This is the weekly class meeting that is on your official course schedule, and is the primary means of getting help with any of the course concepts. The weekly recitation is an opportunity to get help on common problems your class is experiencing in addition to one-on-one help that you may need. You can also spend time during recitation working on the week's assignments. Many students find this option to be helpful in keeping up with the course schedule.
If you fail to complete the learning activities, Pre-Assessments and Exam-Readiness Quizzes by the deadline each week, you are REQUIRED to attend recitation. Unless you are able to demonstrate that you can complete the course on-time while working independently, you MUST attend recitation.
Schedule
All recitations are held in the C@CM Cluster at Baker Hall 140D (with the exception of your first class and the Final Exam). There are 7 Windows and 6 Mac computers available for your use, as well as work space for you to bring your own laptop.
Supplemental Tutoring
If you need additional support outside of your recitation session, you can contact your instructor to schedule an appointment for supplemental tutoring. Your instructor will NOT schedule a tutoring appointment with you if you don't attend your weekly recitation.
