Final Exam

Your grade for this course is primarily determined by your performance on the final exam. You will have two opportunities to take the exam. To be eligible to retake the exam, however, you must have completed all three parts of the Pre-Assessments for each unit and have scored at least a 75% on the Exam Readiness Quiz at the end of each unit. If you need to retake the exam, contact your instructor to arrange a time.

The final exam is a 50-minute, proctored test that will be administered in a computer lab during the final week of classes. You cannot take the exam on your own.

If you do not appear to take the final exam, you will receive a zero on the attempt unless you provide documentation of a university-approved absence. If you do not appear for your second attempt as scheduled, you will receive a zero and will fail the course.

"Test Out" Option

If you have scored at least a 75% on every one of the Exam-Readiness Quizzes, have submitted all three parts of each Pre-Assessment and have done the learning activities necessary to prepare for the exam, you can elect to take the final exam early. You'll need to contact your teaching assistant to arrange a time to take the exam.
