Where in Blackboard should I post my material?

Overview of Blackboard Areas/Sections:

The Announcement area is designed as a primary point of contact for your students.
The Course Information area is used to display general information about the course.
The Staff Information section is provided for instructors to post information about themselves, teaching assistants, and/or guest speakers.
The Course Documents area is designed to hold the majority of prepared course materials.
The Assignments area holds course assignments, tests, quizzes, and surveys.
The Communication area holds all of the communication tools. Discussion, Virtual Chat, Email are located here, along with Student and Group pages.
The External Links area lists helpful URLs you can use or view related course material.
The Student Tools area holds the tools needed to submit information to the instructor, view a course calendar, check grades, manage homepages, and edit profiles.

An instructor may select a different label for the Blackboard areas and corresponding navigation buttons from a drop-down list that includes: Bibliography, Books, Course Information, Course Documents, Course Materials, Documents, Homework, Information, Lectures, Labs, Projects, Syllabus, Textbook, and Assignments.

However, it is not possible to create a customized label - there is no "other" that would allow you to enter your own label title.
