Course Organized by Week

You may decide that organizing your course by week makes the most sense for your course. You've already mapped this out in an outline so the next step would be to create a file structure on your personal computer to reflect the "week" organizational scheme.

The file structure might look something like this:

local structure

Next, mirror that same structure within Blackboard by creating folders for each week (e.g., Week 1, Week 2) within Course Documents.

Organizing your course by week may look like this in Blackboard:

By week

Within each folder for the week, you may further organize you materials. You may create documents or subfolders with documents within those folders.

In the following example, one document has been created titled, Week 2 (Sessions 3 & 4). The document, which has been formatted using HTML, organizes the week by Topic, Learning Objectives, In-Class Activities, Homework, and Readings.
