Overview of the Grade Center

This 1.5 hour workshop is intended to provide instructors with an overview of Blackboard's newest version of the Grade Center and its spreadsheet-like capabilities. New functionality in the gradebook may eliminate or reduce the need to use Excel for managing grades.

We will walk you through the new and updated features and functionality:


• Configuring the gradebook with custom views
• New ways to enter and modify grades
• Computing summary grades, including weighted grades and calculated columns
• Added functionality for downloading and uploading grades
