  • From within your Blackboard course, go to the "Control Panel".
  • From within "Course Options" click "Archive Course".
  • Click "Archive" at the top of the page.

  • Blackboard will take a few minutes to generate an archive .zip file containing the content.
  • You will receive an e-mail when it is ready for you.

  • DOWNLOAD ARCHIVE:

  • Select the link provided to "download the generated package file".
  • Select "OK".

  • WARNING: Blackboard course archive and export files cannot be read outside of Blackboard. DO NOT OPEN the Blackboard course archive/export .zip files because doing so will corrupt the file for re-importing into Blackboard.

Export Course:

Exports can include all or any portions of your Blackboard course
EXCEPT student data, work, and grades. It is strongly recommended that you back up your Gradebook any time you make significant changes.
