Archive Course:

Archives include all of your Blackboard course content and settings, PLUS student data, work, and grades.

GENERATE ARCHIVE:

  1. From within your Blackboard course, go to the "Control Panel"
  2. From within "Course Options" click "Archive Course"
  3. Click "Archive" at the top of the page.
  4. Click "Submit"
  5. Blackboard will take a few minutes to generate an archive .zip file containing the content. You will receive an e-mail when it is ready for you.

DOWNLOAD ARCHIVE:

  1. Once you have received an email, navigate to the "Archive Course" page
  2. Select the link provided to "download the generated package file".
  3. Select "OK".
  4. PLEASE NOTE: Blackboard course archive and export files cannot be read outside of Blackboard. DO NOT OPEN the Blackboard course archive/export .zip files because doing so will corrupt the file for re-importing into Blackboard.
