Users Automatically Enrolled in Your Course:

  1. Students/Participants Enrolled in Student Information System (SIS):
Any student officially enrolled in a course that is registered with the Student Information System (SIS) will be automatically enrolled in your Blackboard course. Under most circumstances your student will be enrolled in SIS and will have an Andrew ID.

Users Who May Experience Problems With Enrollment In Your Course:

  1. Cross-Registered Students:
Students officially cross-registered from other universities will have Andrew IDs.
  2. NOTE: If the course is cross-registered, it may take up to two weeks for some of your students to receive their Andrew IDs. While your students await their Andrew IDs, you may want to allow guest access to your Blackboard course.

  3. Students on Waiting List:
Students on the waiting list for a course do not initially have access to the Blackboard course site.

NOTE: If you have important materials they need to see before they become automatically enrolled in the Blackboard course, you may want to manually enroll these students.
