Fatsi Takes Both Diving Events During Quad Meet

Nov. 19 – (PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Senior diver Eli Fatsi (Midlothian, Va./Trinity Episcopal) continued his impressive start to the 2011-12 diving season with two first-place finishes at the Carnegie Mellon University Diving Quad Meet on Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19. The results were unscored but Fatsi topped divers from Allegheny College, University of Rochester and Washington & Jefferson University.

Fatsi totaled 444.65 points after 11 dives on the 1-meter board and 453.55 after 11 dives on the 3-meter board. Fellow senior Mike Alexovich (Gibsonia, Pa./Hampton) finished second on the 3-meter board with 415.50 points and third on the 1-meter board with 404.65.

The two seniors will now train for spring semester meets when they travel to Westminster College on Saturday, January 21 and have their last home meet on Saturday, January 28 against Denison University.
