Football to Join Presidents’ Athletic Conference

The Carnegie Mellon University football program will join the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) as an affiliate member for the start of the 2014 season. The Tartans will maintain their three-game University Athletic Association (UAA) schedule.

Athletics Partners with Girl Scouts

The women’s basketball team hosted a clinic for Girl Scouts troops 51157 and 54450 from the Pittsburgh area. During the clinic, the athletes worked with 13 girls on dribbling, ball-handling and shooting skills, ending with some exciting relay races.

Tennis Teams Nationally Ranked

The Carnegie Mellon University men's and women’s tennis teams both earned national recognition following the fall season. The women are ranked No. 13 to start the upcoming spring season while the men are ranked of No. 17.

School’s All-UAA 25th Anniversary Teams

As part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the University Athletic Association (UAA), the Carnegie Mellon University Department of Athletics will be announcing the school’s all-time UAA teams throughout the 2011-12 academic year.
