Volleyball Falls in Five on the Road

Sept. 5 – (LATROBE, Pa.) – Sophomore Samantha Carter (San Antonio, Texas/O'Connor) got the offense moving with 50 assists. Sophomore Megan Killeen (San Jose, Calif./Archbishop Mitty) had 18 kills from the outside hitter position, while senior Abbie Toney (Des Moines, Iowa/Johnston) totaled 14 kills. Junior Chisom Amaechi (New Haven, Conn./Hopkins) also had double-digits kills with 11.

Junior Liz DeVleming (Mercer Island, Wash.) had four service aces while freshman Cameron Griffin (Lake Forest, Ill.) had two service aces and 12 digs. Sophomore Jessica Brackin (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) totaled three blocks, including one block solo at the net.

The Tartans continue with their season on Friday, September 7 at The College of Wooster Tournament with a 5:30 p.m. match against Mount Union.
