Staloch and Chui Named UAA Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week

Feb. 26 – (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University senior Amy Staloch (Midland, Mich./H.H. Dow) and freshman Jennifer Chui (Saratoga, Calif./Monta Vista) were named University Athletic Association (UAA) Women’s Tennis Athletes of the Week for their performance this past week.

The combined and individual performances of the duo helped the #5 Tartans to a 7-2 victory over Kenyon College Saturday.  Chui and Staloch teamed to post an 8-0 triumph at first doubles, improving to 12-2 on the season. 

Following their doubles play they both went on to post straight-set victories in singles play.  Staloch recorded a 6-0, 6-2 decision at first singles and Chui a 6-3, 6-2 decision at second singles.
