Loar Earns UAA Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week

Feb. 12 – (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University freshman Brooke Loar (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance in the Tartans 9-0 triumph over NCAA Division I Robert Morris University.

Loar did not surrender a single game in posting victories in singles and doubles over the Colonials.  Loar posted a 6-0. 6-0 win at fourth singles, then teamed with Kelly Nakamura to post an 8-0 triumph at second doubles.
