Staloch and Chui Place 5th at ITA’s

Oct. 12 – (MOBILE, Ala.) – Carnegie Mellon women’s tennis team tandem of senior Amy Staloch (Midland, Mich./H.H. Dow) and freshman Jennifer Chui (Saratoga, Calif./Monta Vista) placed fifth at the ITA National Small College Championships in Mobile, Ala., Friday, October 11.

After upsetting the number one doubles team Thursday, the duo defeated Stephanie Kurti and Becky Morse-Karzen of Mary Washington 3-6, 6-4, 10-5, to place fifth at the ITA National Championships.

Both athletes claimed All-America status for the fall, for Staloch this marks her seventh honor.
