Tartans Open UAA Tournament with 9-0 Win
April 20 - (CLEVELAND, Ohio) - The women's tennis team of Carnegie Mellon University opened the University Athletic Association Tournament with a 9-0 win over the #7 seed of the University of Rochester, Friday afternoon at Case Western Reserve. The Tartans are the #2 seed of the tournament and move their record to 11-7 on the year.

With the win the Tartans move on to play the University of Chicago. Chicago is seeded third for the tournament and defeated Brandeis University 9-0 to move on to Saturday's 12:30 p.m. match with the Tartans.
