Meythaler Named UAA Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week

Feb. 6 - (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University freshman Andrea Meythaler (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Prep) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance this past week against NCAA Division II Slippery Rock University, Saturday, February 3.

Meythaler registered victories in doubles and singles play in leading the Tartans to a 7-2 victory over Slippery Rock. Meythaler posted a 6-1, 6-1 win at third singles, then teamed with freshman Alisa Liebowitz (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) to score a 9-7 victory at second doubles.
