Liebowitz Named UAA Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week

Feb. 13 - (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University freshman Alisa Liebowitz (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance this past week against NCAA Division I Robert Morris University, Saturday, February 10.

Liebowitz won matches at singles and doubles to lead the Tartans to a 6-1 victory over Robert Morris University. Liebowitz posted an impressive 6-2, 6-0 win at second singles and teamed with Andrea Meythalerto (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Prep) at second doubles to post an 8-1 victory.
