Tartans Diving Competes at Miami Invite

Dec. 1 – (OXFORD, Ohio) – The diving team of Carnegie Mellon University traveled to Oxford, Ohio to compete in Miami University’s invitational on Friday and Saturday afternoon.

Junior Alex DeFazio (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) totaled 142.95 points in the 3-meter board while sophomore Matt Kuhn (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) tallied 159.95 and sophomore Joe Kopko (Washington, Pa./Trinity) 146.15 in the 1-meter board on Friday.

In Saturday’s competition, DeFazio finished with 155.75 points in the 1-meter board while Kuhn finished 18th overall with 167.80 points with Kopko tallying 143.85.
