Rosen Takes UAA Honors Again

Oct. 16 – (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Freshman goalkeeper Anya Rosen (La Canada, Calif.) was honored for the second time this season by the University Athletic Association as Women's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week. Rosen joins Molly Leitch of Rochester as co-awardees.

Rosen helped the Tartans to a 1-0-1 week with ten total saves. In a 1-1 double-overtime draw with Rochester on Friday, October 12, Rosen stopped seven shots and then turned away three shots in a 1-0 win at Case Western Reserve University, tallying her fourth shutout of the year.

Rosen also won the award on September 24 following a two shutout performance against then #7 Denison and Penn State Behrend.
