Rosen Garners UAA Athlete of the Week Honors

Sept. 24 – (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Freshman goalkeeper Anya Rosen (La Canada, Calif.)  was named Women’s Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week by the University Athletic Association for her performance in leading the Tartans to a 2-0 week, while recording back-to-back shutouts, including her first career victory.

In her second start of the year, Rosen made two incredible saves in the 68th and 72nd minute to preserve the shutout in a 1-0 win over #7 Denison University.  In the Tartans 4-0 win over Penn State Behrend Rosen made one save as she collected the first win of her career.
