Tartans Fall to Kenyon

Sept. 8 – (GAMBIER, Ohio) – The Tartans women's soccer team outshot the Ladies of Kenyon 16-7 and challenged the Ladies keeper to make 10 saves but fell 3-0 in an afternoon match at Kenyon College. The Tartans are now 1-2 on the season and continue play at the Kenyon Invitational against Otterbein College at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Kenyon opened the scoring in the 19th minute when Brooke Rockwern scored her first goal of the season. The Ladies also scored in the 68th and 78th minute with goals by Rachel Goheen and Beth Blackey. 

Sophomore Christie Adams (Kingsville, Md./Mercy) recorded one save in goal for the Tartans while Rosie Davis had 10 saves for Kenyon.
