Coffin Claims Second Straight UAA Athlete of the Week Honor

Oct. 8 – (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Junior forward Abby Coffin (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) was honored by the University Athletic Association (UAA) as Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week for the second straight week. Coffin led the Tartans to a 1-0-1 week including a UAA victory over the University of Chicago.

In the 3-1 win over Chicago, Coffin registered her second hat trick in three games and fourth of her career. Coffin headed in the game’s first goal in the 24th minute and then recorded two goals in less than a five minute span to insure the victory.  Her last two goals came in the 84th and 89th minutes.

She leads the team with 10 goals and 21 points and moved into third place on the school’s all-time goal and point list.
