Stever Earns UAA Women’s Soccer Honors

Oct. 17 - (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University junior forward Kasey Stever (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Women’s Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Stever accounted for all of the scoring for the Tartans in a 1-1 week. After accounting for the lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Brandeis University, Stever scored the game’s opening goal (3:20) and the winning goal (79:09) in a 2-1 victory over New York University. She leads the team with seven goals and has scored five of the Tartans last six goals.

The Tartans will travel to Erie, Pennsylvania, Sunday, October 22 to play Penn State Behrend. Start time is set for 2:00 p.m.
