I chose to come to Carnegie Mellon because...

of the diversity of the campus community as well as the cultural opportunities that are available in Pittsburgh. My decision was also based on the prestigious architectural education offered at Carnegie Mellon.

My favorite thing(s) about Carnegie Mellon University

Henry Hornbostel. (I LOVE YELLOW BRICK)

My favorite thing about being a college basketball player

The opportunities to experience so many of the world's greatest cities while playing a sport I love.

My favorite time during the basketball season

Away trips. I love the travel and I love the 5-course meals we are served!!!

Name an athlete you look up to and why

Babe Didrikson Zaharias.
Babe made huge strides for female athletes. She broke the accepted "models" of femininity in her time and even the accepted "models" of female athleticism. She is considered to be the greatest all-round female athlete and I admire her for her ambitions to play and conqure anything that was placed in front of her.

My favorite perk about being a Carnegie Mellon basketball player

Not to reiterate myself, but I would have to say the meals that are served on away trips.

My most memorable basketball moment / experience at Carnegie Mellon

This is a difficult question... In terms of experiences at Carnegie Mellon University there are so many, failing the first tests, no longer being an A student and being OK with that, cutting off my thumb with an exacto-knife, etc.
My most memorable basketball moment woul dhave to be freshman year, when I started the first game of the season and my family was able to be there to share that experience with me.
